Transforming Life

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,-.-.-.-and ye are not your own? —1 CORINTHIANS 6:19

When you were born again, the Spirit of God took up residence in you, and He imparted His very nature and being into your spirit. God left the man-made Holy of Holies and made you, the born-again believer, the temple of His presence.

You are in vital union with the Father. You have life in you today to transform your marriage, your relationship with your children, and your finances. There is life in you right now to heal your body. "In him was life; and the life was the light of men" (John 1:4). Take hold of this powerful truth today and begin to express His life.

We have been built up a holy habitation of the Lord, and He is building His dwelling place out of living stones. As His tabernacle, the presence of God goes wherever you go. You can bring those around you into His presence at any time and in any place. You bring life, healing, power, and deliverance into the lives of others through His indwelling presence. Is Jesus touching others through you?

Fear the Lord and Live!

Married to Christ

"You also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ,
that you may be married to another -- to Him who was raised from the
dead, that we should bear fruit to God."

You may wonder how this union with Jesus was accomplished. I do not
have the answer to that, but I consider it to be so because God
says it is so. God placed us in Christ. I do not fully understand
how He did this, but I know that He did it, and I thank God for it.
The Bible says that "because of [God] you are in Christ Jesus" (1
Corinthians 1:30).

Disciples of Jesus are one with Christ because God has placed us
there. We are in Christ, and Christ is in us. We may not understand
how this can be so, but it is so. We are spiritually one with
Christ. This oneness, this union, this partnership and fellowship
with Him is the basis of our spiritual life and our walk with God.

Remember, when people do things to hurt you, instead of cursing them out, bless them and pray for them. Make a decision to walk in LOVE even if no one else does. Make no mistake, there will always be those who are difficult to LOVE. Allow anger to motivate you to speak the TRUTH in LOVE, and watch GOD back you up every time. Amen.

Hope: The Anchor of the Soul

Hebrews 6:13-20

Hope is a healthy attitude. Anticipating good brings comfort to the mind and heart. In contrast, a state of hopelessness is a terrible condition in which to find oneself. It's overwhelming and depressing to think that what you're facing cannot be changed or resolved. For the person who has lost all hope, life looks like a long dark tunnel going nowhere.

Included in Proverbs is a verse that describes the result of this oppressive feeling: "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" (Prov. 13:12). Emotional, physical, and even mental illness haunt a person who feels trapped in a bleak situation. But I want to tell you, my friend, that as long as there is a God, no situation is hopeless. In Him, we have the promise of the second half of that proverb: "Desire fulfilled is a tree of life."

Believers have a hope that anchors their souls. Our relationship with Jesus Christ brings us close to the throne of heaven, where we can cast all our burdens before an omnipotent God. Moreover, we can cling to Him through whatever trials are facing us. Because of the Lord's great love, He provides strength for weary bodies, peace for anxious minds, and comfort for grieving hearts. In short, He lights that darkened tunnel and tenderly guides us through trying situations.

An anchor was a popular image in the ancient Mediterranean world. In an economy that depended on shipping, the anchor symbolized safety and steadiness. The writer of Hebrews used the word to remind believers that God has given a hope that holds firm in any storm.

We need more than a touch from God; we must have God Himself. There is an ocean of difference between receiving the blessing and receiving the One Who blesses; between getting a touch and receiving the One Who touches; between healing and the Healer; between redemption and Redeemer; between salvation and Savior. The former deals with what God has or can do, while the latter deals with God Himself

Jesus is my everything!

and be found in him, ...

May Jesus our Lord fill us Himself and make us entirely His own, so we may gain Christ and be found in Him. Amen.

You can climb the impossible...

The sky stretches endless blue above me. The road whirs beneath the wheels of my bike. I can see it coming--a hill in the distance. It calls my name, dares me to climb it. I move upwards and feel the effort. Legs beg to stop. Shoulders ask for a break. Mouth reminds me I'm thirsty. But I've learned that sometimes you have to ride through the hurt. Sometimes you have to push through the hard. That's how you get stronger. That's how you beat the next hill faster. Yes, there are seasons when we need to stop and rest or tend to an injury. But there are other moments when the only way through is to just keep going. To climb the impossible. Then look out from the top and say, "I didn't know I had it in me." Oh, yes, you've got it in you. Because you've got a limitless God in you too. That means you can press on, press in, never give up. You just might be closer than you think. Go, friend, go. {I'm cheering you on as you do. Yes, woo-hoo for YOU!}

Faith needs a gate!!!

When the Lord Jesus was striped for us, He opened a gate, a door of opportunity, where once there was only a wall. Now we can direct our faith towards that gate to pray for healing (literal and spiritual). This principle is Scriptural:

"By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God" (Romans 5:2)

The word "access" in this passage has the connotation of a "key", since keys are used to give us access to what lies beyond a closed door. This means that "faith" is a "key" to a door. This is reinforced by the following two passages:

"I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." (John 10:9)

"For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father." (Ephesians 2:18)

A key is useless without a door. Therefore, if faith is a key, it needs a door or gate. Matthew 7:13 talks about two gates. This means that God gives us an option. We can choose which gate we can direct our faith to, and the interesting thing is that both gates produce results. We will now study two persons in the Bible; one prayed towards the wide gate and the other towards the narrow gate, and we will study the differences between the two.

God is not interested in believers who do tons of church activity. He is interested in men and women who are after His heart, whose whole desire in life is to see the manifestation of His will on Earth, not only in their own lives but in the lives of others. A second reason is that, if you give God 100% of your love, you become One with Him, and, since He is love (1 John 4:16), the love of God will flow through you and reach out to unite others to God, just as you are One with Him. In other words, you begin to love others in God and the intensity and the life-changing effect of your love towards others reaches a level that surpasses any natural love outside of God, no matter how intense that natural love may be. The love inside of you is not like a finite pie that must be sliced up, giving one slice to God, another to your wife, and another to your children. Love is an essence, and when you are One with God, the eternal essence of God flows through you and reaches out to unite others to Him. And, in so doing, you set in motion the fulfillment of God’s purpose for every life around you. What use is there in a life that did not fulfill its prophetic purpose? And what use is there in a love that makes the other person feel nice and gooey but eventually prevents that person from fulfilling his or her potential and calling in life?

When you love your children (or any other person around you) to such an extent that you prefer their happiness over God’s will and purpose for them, you in essence love yourself, and you are hampering their future. The core difference between the Old and the New Testament is expressed in Jeremiah 31:31-34 and in Hebrews 8:7-12 (please note that the word for "testament" is the same as "covenant" in Greek: diatheke). The Old Testament, or Covenant, limited the access to the Holy Place and to the Holy of Holies to a certain group of people. The New Covenant opens this access to anyone with faith. We are all priests and kings now (Revelation 1:6). Now, we all have direct access to the Holy of Holies, to the Shekinah Glory of God, not just a select few.

Hezekiah15-year extension was not such a blessing, as it appears to be on the surface. If God knew these 15 years would bring tragic consequences, why did He answer Hezekiah’s prayer? The key to answering this question is in Isaiah 38:2, where it declares that Hezekiah "turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord". Why did the Holy Spirit take the time to mention this detail? Because it was a physical manifestation of what Hezekiah was doing spiritually. All his life, Hezekiah had been a narrow-gate believer. Narrow-gate believers live as slaves to God’s will. Their central focus and concern is the fulfillment of God’s purposes on Earth, not their own. Every time a narrow-gate believer has a desire in his or her heart, he or she filters that desire through the narrow gate. Since gates represent judgment and filtering (as explained earlier), we can say that narrow gate believers expose their desires to the judgments of God. If the requested desire can be filtered through God’s perfect will and purposes, it will be taken up by God. Otherwise, the request is rejected at the gate. For example, if a young narrow-gate male believer is in love with a beautiful girl in church, his prayer towards God in order to marry this girl will get filtered through God’s perfect will. If that girl will serve more as a stumbling block than a blessing in the fulfillment of God’s purposes for that young man, his marriage request will not pass through the narrow gate and the girl will not marry him. The young man might be heartbroken for a few days because of the denied request, but the mighty ministry that God has in store for that young man will still be intact, and eternal rewards await him, because he placed God above all else, including his own self-interests.

Hezekiah had been like this all his life; he had died to many things. But when God asked him to die to that one last thing that would "seal the deal" and ensure the fulfillment of his calling on Earth and bless his posterity, he backtracked. "Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them

who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (Heb 10:38-39) Hezekiah did exactly what a certain rich young man did when he asked Jesus what he needed to do to have eternal life(Mark 10:20-22) Hezekiah had run a great marathon, and he was just 10 blocks away from the finish line, but he decided to give up. He settled for a nice, comfortable life. When he turned his face to pray that fateful day, he was turning away from the narrow gate to pray towards the wide gate. Since he had been a narrow-gate man all of his life, there was no wide gate when he turned to pray towards it; there was only a wall. But, as he continued to pray, the wide gate he had rejected all his life began to take form on the wall, and, when he finished his prayer with "sore weeping" (Isaiah 38:3), the wide gate was completed. In the original Hebrew, Isaiah 38:3 says that Hezekiah "wept with a great weeping". The Hebrew word gadowl that appears here means, "great, large", and gadowl comes from gadal, which means, "to grow, to magnify". Hezekiah enlarged his gate. He turned from the narrow gate towards the wide gate. From that point on, he was a wide-gate believer.

When a wide-gate believer makes a request in prayer, the request is not filtered and judged through God’s perfect will and purposes, as is the case with narrow-gate believers. Instead, it is filtered through the self-centered desires of the believer. When a young wide-gate male believer prays and prays to God for a pretty but spiritually lukewarm girl in the congregation to marry him, God will generally answer that request, even if the girl will serve to ruin God’s calling for the young man’s life. Some of you might be saying, "God would never answer my prayer if it is not good for me". Even though this sounds like a nice little evangelical truth, it contradicts the Bible. Notice how Hezekiah’s 15 years spoiled what had been a great life of devotion to God. If there are still doubts, consider Numbers 11, where the rebellious people of God demanded flesh, because they got tired of the manna:

(John 17:21-22) Notice how Jesus is now saying that we have the opportunity to be One with the Father, just as He is One with Him. And notice how Jesus even dares to say that we may share in God's Glory!!! But notice what the Lord said through Isaiah:"⁸I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images." (Isaiah 42:8)

Is this a contradiction of what the Lord said in John 17:22? Since God does not share His Glory with anyone, no one can share in God's Glory outside of Him. This implies that the only way for Isaiah 42:8 and John 17:22 to be true at the same time is if we have an opportunity to be made One with God. This is the essence of eternal life, and this is why John 17 begins with the following passage(John 17:1-3) Eternal life, according to verse 3, is to know the "One true God", which means, to know Him in His Truth and His

Oneness (Deut 6:4), which in turn means, to be made One with Him in justice and judgment. Truth is intimately connected to justice and judgment). (Matthew 19:16-22) When the young man asked Jesus how he could enter into eternal life, Jesus did not ask him to repeat the sinner's prayer. He told him to keep the commandments. Jesus then proceeded to list 6 commandments. When the young man replied that he had kept all 6, Jesus did not say, "Liar, you do not keep them". Instead, He gave him a final commandment, commandment number 7, which was to sell everything he had, give to the poor, and follow Him. The number 6 in Scripture generally represents human effort, since man is to work 6 days and rest on the 7th day (in a spiritual sense, of course). This means that, in order to enter eternal life, there is an element of human effort involved, but the task can only be completed by God. There is a part of the process where we must rest and allow God to work, and this is done by yielding to God. When Jesus asked the young man to sell his possessions, He was asking him to yield what was most precious to his heart. In other words, we can only enter eternal life through a submissive heart that yields all to God and is willing to follow Him wherever He takes us. We are called to die on the 7th day, so that we may resurrect on the 8th day, just as Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week following His death (Matthew 28:1-10). The key to eternal life is to follow Jesus, not natural man. And, since we are supposed to know the voice of Jesus (John 10:27The wheat is not to stay on the ground to be threshed forever (v28). After God produces death through His Word of Judgment, He unleashes resurrection power so that what was sown in death (the grain) may come to life:

"And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:" (1 Corinthians 15:37)As we see in the verse above, your life must be sown in order to be resurrected. If judgment comes on a person who refuses to hand over his or her life as a seed and who literally "holds on for dear life", God will have nothing to resurrect, because there can be no harvest where there is no seed:” Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it." (Luke 17:33)

Welcome To The Infinite Supply Of God

I pray That when you go over these inspired messages pray, God's healing Touch on your spirit and give peace of mind to be released from bondage that grip one's soul.

Psalm 79:8 says “… May your mercy come quickly to meet us, for we are in desperate need.” (NIV). God is our daily portion, and He is all we desperately need. Time spent with God is time well spent. When we sit with God and read His Word, we are approaching His throne, and He is listening to us, and speaking. Just as a little girl eagerly runs to the door each evening when her daddy returns home from work, and sits at her daddy’s feet listening to his wisdom, so should we do each day with our heavenly Father. , Never forget that God’s holy words are right in our hands; we just have to choose to pick it up.

Dear Lord, please give a thirst for your word that can only be quenched through spending time with you and reading Bible. Help us to remember that to be blessed is to be able to read your word and to worship you freely. Forgive us for taking that for granted. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
