My Inspiration

I'f you think of   this world is a place intended simply for our happiness you find it quite intolerable; think of it as a place of training and correction and it is not so bad. C.S.Lewis
The natural life knows that if the spiritual life gets hold of it, all its self-centeredness and self-will are going to be killed... and it is ready to fight tooth and nail to avoid that." ~ C S Lewis

As I was meditating on the word of God these 3 words touched me deeply to grow more in faith Light, Love, and Life
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life
(John 8:12). In Him was Life; and The Life was The Light of men Christ, the Giver of Life, is also The Life; and as we live in fellowship with Him, our lives will continue to become more and more an expression of His life.
In Gen1/3 ; And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (Jn;1:4).In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness,
we have a responsibility to enlighten the darkness by our deeds and words. We are to demonstrate that Christ's salvation liberates us from sin, in order that we can live in the Spirit and proclaim the Savior. That responsibility starts from the place where we are. But none of us can fulfill this unless we are willing to be filled by the Holy Spirit, and walk in step with Him. So we need to ask him for a willing heart to receive the fullness of His presence and His power.
Paul speaks   1Cor 13/ This is what shown through out the Bible .Bible is the love story of God to man.
Jn3/16 says For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Jesus says again  in John 10:10  The thief  cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. so also Jn 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Through out the old Testament, we read the witness and examples of our ancestors Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.so that we do not fall in the run  God have set before us.
Meditating on the word of God we see How great  our God IS!
In my words I say God is the architect, Jesus the contractor and Holy Spirit the interior designer. Architect who draws the plan of a house, Jesus is the builder through the word of God, and Holy Spirit is the decorator of His House which is our body.? Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?
Jesus completely surrounded His life to the will of God. We find the same example with Abraham and Isaac.
Even though Abraham was physically weak and old, he believed what God said. Abraham’s faith credited it to him as righteousness And the covenant was made through cutting the animals into half and God walking in between them as a sign of the covenant.  (Genesis; 15 /18 )
He had  super natural faith not a human faith . Even Thomas the disciple asked for sign and we know what Jesus said to him. Heb 11/1 . We need a trusting and expectant faith in our day to day life. Another point when we have a personal relationship with Jesus  reading the word mediating on it spending time with God , we receive revelations and wisdom to move in the right path God need each one of us . Each one of us  is unique and our work for Him is in different ways  as to serve Him in the kingdom of God
We need Revelation and not information from people.  Adam and Eve lacked this revelation. Even though God said not to eat or touch, they listened to the information received from out side. In our walk with God we need revelation and not information from human reasoning
. Gal 3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.  Meaning one person, who is Christ.
Abraham believed God and surrendered himself offering Isaac for the sacrifice trusting  in the covenant promise of God.
Looking at Isaac we find a great faith in his attitude. As a man he could have resisted or run away from his old age father but he stood with faith in agreement with his human father. He surely  listened to the stories Abraham told him earlier  while growing up.Rom; 10/17,  Faith comes from hearing -
Abraham’s test was actually a wilderness test is where we submit to short term pain, confident that in the end it will produce long term gain. Jesus was tested in the wilderness. So we are also tested in our day to day life journey. As I was mediating on this , I recd  a  mail from  a friend  in   USA .TD Jakes talking about the importance of hearing God on a daily basis. He  explained it from Abraham and Isaac their journey to sacrifice Isaac. He said Isaac must have been glad that his dad could hear God clearly when Abraham raised the knife. He said there are many 'dead Isaacs' in our lives b'cos we killed the Isaacs the Lord wanted us to keep b'cos we lived on the revelation of the past and stopped hearing God.
Joshua 1/8 teach how important it is learning and experiencing God on daily basis. By spending time with God reading the word of God mediating on it brings life as spiritual   food, mentally and physically
As a child of God we need to die to self day by day shown by Jesus Phil 2/4-8.This is the essence of Christianity. Dying to self brings fruits of His spirit .Gal 5/22. Whatever done  with a cheerful attitude of mind  and spirit  giving away what is attached to us  release or deliver  one from bondage of sin  and brings to the  next level of spiritual growth
God's GPS  Hebrews 13:20-21.An Encouraging word for us. These verses teach us that God is working in us all the time to bring us to maturity--our destiny in Christ.
God’s guidance to that of the Global Positioning System (GPS), one of those systems they now have in cars that guides you to your destination.
A GPS system uses a satellite to give an aerial view, and its sole function is to get you to your destination, your "destiny." As you travel to your destination, you have a map on the screen, and this little annoying voice talking to you through the whole trip, "Left turn a quarter mile ahead; left turn 150 feet ahead; left turn 50 feet ahead."
If you miss your turn, it immediately computes a new course for you so you can get back to where you are supposed to be. And if you mess up on those directions, it then computes another new course. In the same way, God has a destiny for us to fulfill, something that fits into His great master plan. By His grace, He is guiding us all the way, even when we get off track. God just readjusts and says, "This is the next thing you need to do to get back into My plan." Through His "GPS," He is always working to get us where we need to be.
