John 3:30 "He must increase, but I must decrease."

Today's Inspiring Thought: Less of Me

More Like the Master

More like the Master I would ever be,
More of His meekness, more humility;
More zeal to labor, more courage to be true,
More consecration for work He bids me do.
More like the Master is my daily prayer;
More strength to carry crosses I must bear;
More earnest effort to bring His kingdom in;
More of His Spirit, the wanderer to win.
More like the Master I would live and grow;
More of His love to others I would show;
More self-denial, like His in Galilee,
More like the Master I long to ever be.

Revelation Knowledge For Your Spirit Only

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God" (1 Cor. 2:12).

Revelation knowledge is the very foundation upon which the church of the Lord Jesus Christ is built. Whether or not the church walks in victory or walks far below victory depends on whether or not it is exercising this very issue of revelation knowledge. That makes revelation knowledge important to the body of Christ, wouldn't you say?

There are two kinds of knowledge in this world, sense knowledge and revealed knowledge. Sense or natural knowledge is gained through the five physical senses. It comes from what you hear, see, taste, touch, and smell. It's the kind of knowledge we gain in school and from life experiences. It is received from the outside in.

Then there is revealed or revelation knowledge. The Holy Spirit reveals knowledge to you. You don't get this knowledge because you saw, heard, smelled, tasted, or felt something. This knowledge comes from the inside out.

Colossians 2:2-3 tells us that the treasures of God are hidden in Jesus for us. God's supernatural treasure of wisdom and knowledge is hidden in Jesus. Why would God hide it? God hid it from Satan in order to keep it reserved for the believer.

Satan can only operate by sense knowledge. Satan can only operate against believers in the natural realm; he can only deal with us through the five physical senses. That's why Satan wants to crush revelation knowledge, because he can't operate in it.

he knows it's been hidden away from him and hidden for the believer. He doesn't want the believer to operate in revelation knowledge. Satan does not want the believer to "be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding."

When we walk in this knowledge, Satan can't stop us. We may be hindered or slowed down; but when we operate in revelation knowledge from God we cannot be stopped.

We need to always remember that "God's supernatural treasure of wisdom and knowledge is hidden in Jesus...God hid it from Satan in order to keep it reserved for the believer."

The DESERT EXPERIENCE - An Introduction -by Ken Brown

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My
ways, declares the Lord.  As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways." (Isaiah 55:8-9)

- It is imperative that every child of God should understand His ways.
- We think in straight lines and fixed points, and move in a
consecutive manner, that is, from point to point (we start and finish
a book; we look forward to something, and look back on something;
we measure progress by time spent or goods produced; when we
travel, we leave a departure point and arrive at a destination point, etc.)

- God doesn't think in straight lines, He thinks in circles.  He's
doing many things simultaneously, He's at the beginning and the
middle and the end of many things - all at the same time.
Therefore, He doesn't think of things in the context of time, He
exists outside of time.  Time is irrelevant to Him.  He is not
affected by time.

- God's timelessness presents a very real problem for us.  God
may speak into our life today and we will assume that it's going to
happen today, or very soon.  We will probably place it on a time
line of some sort.  But, God may be speaking to us from a point
that is still far into our future.  The reason is because He is not
concerned with time, and this is why: God does not measure time;
He measures growth!  When God deals with us, His purpose is
growth, maturity, and preparation.  And, it always involves death to
self!  God will draw us into a desert experience with Him to give us
the opportunity to grow (to die to self), to learn to trust Him or to
gain more insight into His ways.

- And, because of the way we think, our first question is always
"How long is this going to take?"  We're not having fun.  Dying to
self is never fun.  But God won't tell us how long it's going to take,
because He understands that if we know how long, we'll just try to
hold our breath until it's over.  He doesn't want us to hold our breath.
He wants us to die!...

- For us the practical result of all this is that God has spoken
words into our lives (even though we must be careful and know,
what was spoken by God, and what wasn't).  And because of this,
we know He has wonderful plans for us, and that excites us.  We
have aspirations for God.  We want to do all those great things
He's spoken into us.  But, many times what we really experience
is great frustration, because those things He's spoken aren't
happening yet!  When you're frustrated, know that God loves
frustrated people.  He knows you're frustrated because you care.
Also know that the reason they may not be happening yet is that
God is still measuring growth, not time.

- In our relationship with God, His purpose is to conform us to the
image of His Son.  And, He's content to take as much time as
necessary.  We, on the other hand, want everything to happen now,
without suffering, pain, or sacrifice on our part.  And God's only
response to that is - too bad.  Adjust your thinking.  I'm doing this my way.

- When God is dealing with us, we must learn the value of doing
nothing.  This seems to be a contradiction; but most everything we
do with God (if we do it right) is a contradiction to us...
We have to learn the value of doing nothing before God.  That's
why quiet time with God is so great - you don't have to do anything.
Just hang out with God.

You don't have to fast for three days to get His attention, or recite
long prayers to impress Him.  Just rest quietly before His presence
and wait for Him.  If He doesn't speak immediately, He will
eventually.  But, you do have to learn to wait.  It's a matter of
respect and submission on your part.  God does not act according
to your time, He acts according to His will.  Anytime a believer
decides to press in to God and really get to know Him, one of the
first things God will teach him is His Sovereignty!  God moves in
His time and acts according to His ways.  Religion teaches that
man is the creator and God is what they created.  They expect
Him to do what they say, when they say it.  Of course, He doesn't.
But they're too stupid and bound up in their own deception to notice.
- Also, God operates on a different noise level than we do.  When
we cry out to Him, He whispers back to us.  God wants us to learn
to be quiet, even when everything around us is in turmoil.  Psalm 46
starts out with an earthquake and a tidal wave and ends with God
telling us to "be quiet and rest assured that I am God (and
everything is under control, regardless of what you see or hear)".

But know this, when you learn how to rest in God, you'll be
accused of not caring about what's going on around you.  In this
world, anxiety and hand wringing is the universal sign that you
really care (that, and whether or not you're wearing the appropriate
color ribbon or symbol on your lapel).  However, in the Kingdom of
God, anxiety is only proof that you're dumb.  After all, you're
supposed to be having a relationship with the Prince of Peace.

- God delights in drawing us into times of intimacy with Him.  Later
in this paper we will see just how He does that.  In each cycle of
intimacy there are two specific points we must be able to recognize.
The first is submission and the second is obedience.  In order for
us to benefit from being in God's presence, we must first
acknowledge Who He is in submission, and then be ready to obey.

A PLACE FOR THE LORD

"And when [Jesus] saw a fig tree in the way, He came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, 'Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever.' And presently the fig tree withered away" (Matthew 21:19).

It is not too difficult to find a meeting or a service in which you get a sense of death, not of Life. The music, preaching, and fellowship may be well and good: but you come away hungry and deflated because the Lord's Need is not met. The measure of the presence of the Lord or the blessing of the Lord upon a meeting, a work, or a people is always the Life. Let us not judge by outward appearances. Remember that it is not the leaves of the fig tree, but the figs, which contain the Life. The fruit of the Spirit is the outward manifestation of the inward Life.

Resurrection Life is that which has died, but now lives. It has the mark of the Cross upon it. It has passed through death once, and death can no more touch it. If we have not already passed through death then we are constantly fearful of dying, but the one who has already died and lives again has nothing more to fear from death. As we are decreased through the daily carrying of our cross, Christ in us is increased, and the strength of His Life is matured through our weakness.

Treasure

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7
You may not have a lot of money, but you have incredible wealth. You may not have an abundance of things, but you possess more than you could ever ask or think. God has placed within you the greatest treasure anyone can ever possess—it is the life of Jesus Christ. You have, living within you, the beauty of His holiness, the kindness of His grace, the freedom of His truth, the compassion of His mercy, the greatness of His power, and the riches of His love. He has freely lavished upon you a treasure house of blessings that you can freely give away to others.

Knowing the person behind the book

Knowing the person behind the book

"To own a Bible—to know we have it if we need it—brings a certain measure of peace. When we actually read and begin to understand it we are better able to receive peace of mind and heart. And when we apply what God's Word teaches, our lifestyle actually becomes a fertile place where peace can grow. But when we truly grow to love this wisdom given to us by its loving author, we have actually come to put our trust in the person behind the book. The writer of Psalm 119 grew to love God's law because it revealed who God was. We can rest assured when we follow the principles that issue from God's great love and wisdom
.

When peace like a river attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
"It is well, it is well with my soul."

How do we listen to God’s Word?

“How do we listen to God’s Word? The answer is that we listen to it in three ways. We listen with the ear of the mind trying to understand it, we listen with the ear of the heart trying to see how it applies to our lives, and we listen with the ear of the soul talking to God about it asking Him to make our lives conform to his word

A Prayer For Wisdom

Precious Father,Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, O Precious All In All,
May only your will and your design for my life be fully worked out.
Bring your wisdom, O Lord, when I am hammered with frustrations,
temptations, and stresses trying to corrode my soul and throw me into
the pits of failure.Bring your wisdom and let me succeed only in doing your will rather than my own will.
Bring your wisdom and let me succeed in being humble and contrite.
Bring your wisdom and let me make only reasonable decisions.
Bring your wisdom and let me make successful decisions based upon your
love and your work in the world.
Bring your wisdom and show me how I can be more effective.
Bring your wisdom and show me how I can give all I have to you.
Help me rely upon you to secure my family and loved ones both in this
world and in the world to come.
Let me be able to assess the true darkness of this world and bring your light.
Let me see facts and truth not opinion.
Let me see how things work, so your good can then be duplicated and
evil can be avoided. Let me strike blows against the darkness while letting your Light  shine in all I say, think, and do. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
I love you, O Lord. I adore you, Precious One.All these things I humbly pray.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy
Spirit who lives within me and touches me,Amen

Jesus My Lord and God

If God isn’t leading you to a certain place, why go there?

Lord, I am following You. I will not run around in circles trying to find my own way. I place my feet in Your footsteps. I take the place that You have prepared for me. I will faithfully remain where You have placed me until You make it clear it is time to move on.

(If God hasn’t asked you to do a certain task, why perform it?)

Lord, I will only carry what You ask me to lift. I lay down my agenda and my ideas of what I think needs to be done. I say “no” to all stress and striving and “yes” to the peace that comes from obeying what You are asking me to do.

(If God hasn’t directed you to speak something, why declare it?)

Lord, put Your words in my mouth. I want to speak words that are fitting for the moment—the right word, the true word, the edifying word, the anointed word, the word in due season—the word from Your heart to others.

(If God wouldn’t be pleased with your choice, why choose it?)

Lord, I choose those things that will bring a smile to Your face. My greatest pleasure is to please You.

(If “for His glory” is the right reason, why do something for the wrong reason?)

Lord, I love Your righteousness. I want to live right, think right, and act right. I want my motivation to be for Your sake, and my attitudes to be a reflection of who You are. May others want to know You more because of what they see of Your life in me.

May the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified and become more glorious through and in you. 2 Thessalonians 1:12 AMP

All Things In Christ

ALL THINGS IN CHRIST
by Chip Brogden
"For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to Whom be glory for ever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)."

We ought to meditate on this daily and ask the Lord to open our eyes to see the height, depth, width, length, and breadth of this JESUS Whom we say we serve. May God deliver us from our own idea, concept, perception, and illusion of a small Christ and give us revelation into the preeminence of His Son.

When we see Christ as All in All then it will be impossible for us to ever again be reduced to the small, the trivial, the petty things which occupy us and waste so much of our time. Our only hope is seeing a Christ that fills us, a Christ that is greater than us, a Christ that is larger than we can fathom, an indescribable Christ that overshadows, overwhelms, and consumes us through and through!

In Romans 11:36 Paul sums up the preeminence of Christ into three expressions: "Of Him... through Him... to Him... are ALL THINGS." "OF HIM" says that everything which exists - things in heaven, things in earth, everything that was created, everything that has come into being, everything that will come into being - is created by, and because of, CHRIST. "THROUGH HIM" says that everything which lives, moves, breathes, operates, exists, or functions in this universe, whether animate or inanimate, whether biological, chemical, spiritual, natural, or cosmotological - does so THROUGH CHRIST, Who sovereignly upholds all these things, determines their place, and keeps them in order. "TO HIM" says that everything, no matter how far from God's Thought it may be, no matter how chaotic things may appear, is being directed, summed up, and gathered together INTO CHRIST. As the Alpha, all things flow FROM Him; as the Omega, all things flow TO Him.

That is quite a paragraph. A paragraph like that cannot be grasped in one reading. But that paragraph is, in essence, what Paul means, and what we mean, by Christ having the preeminence in all things. We are talking about Jesus as Lord over us individually, over the Church corporately, and over all creation collectively. We are talking about a preeminent Christ Who is exalted above every principality and power, rule and dominion; things visible, things invisible; things past, things present, things future; things in heaven, things in earth, things under the earth: all things are OF Him, all things are THROUGH Him, and all things are TO Him. That is preeminence.

Father NASH"
In the battlefields of the spiritual world the true heroes are often unseen by the world. These are the ones often touched by heaven,
who breathe the rarified air of the secret place of the Most High. Such a one was Father Nash a partner to the much better known evangelist
Charles Finney during the Second Great Awakening.
Daniel Nash started as a preacher in upstate New York. His record there is singularly unremarkable. At age 48 he decided to give himself totally to prayer for Finney's meetings. Nash would come quietly into towns three or four weeks in advance of a meeting, gather three or four other like minded Christians with him and in a rented room start praying and bringing heaven near. It is reported that in one town all he could find was a dank, dark cellar, but that place was soon illumined with holy light as he made in the place of intercession. In another place as Finney relates: When I got to town to start a revival a lady contacted me who ran a boarding house. She said, "Brother Finney, do you know a Father Nash? He and two other men have been at my boarding house for the last three days, but they haven't eaten a bite of food. I opened the door and peeped in at them because I could hear them groaning and I saw them down on their faces. They have been this way for three days, lying prostrate on the floor and groaning. I thought something awful must have happened to them. I was afraid to go in and I didn't know what to do. Would you please come see about them?” No it isn't necessary," I replied. "They just have a spirit of travail in prayer.” When the public meetings started Father Nash would not usually attend but kept praying in his closet for the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to fall on the crowd and melt their hearts. When opposition arose Father Nash would pray all the harder.
Once a group of young men promised to break up the meetings. Nash was praying nearby and came out of the shadows to announce: "Now mark me, young men! God will break your ranks in less than one week, either by converting some of you, or by sending some of you to hell. He will do this certainly as the Lord is my God!” Finney thought his friend had lost his sense. But by next Tuesday morning the leader of the group suddenly showed up, confessed his sinful attitude before Finney and accepted Christ. "What shall I do Mr. Finney?" he asked. Finney told him to go back to his companions and tell them how Christ had changed his life. Before that week was out nearly all of the original group had come to Christ. In 1826 both Finney and Nash were burnt in effigy. The enemy recognized the threat of Father Nash's prayers to their ways of wickedness.Shortly before Nash died in 1831 he wrote: I am now convinced, it is my duty and privilege, and the duty of every other Christian, to pray for as much of the Holy Spirit as came down on the day of Pentecost, and a great deal more?. My body is in pain, but I am happy in my God?. I have only just begun to understand what Jesus meant when he said, "All things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” It is interesting to note that within four months of Father Nash's death Finney left the evangelistic field to take a Church in New York City. His prayer partner in taking the enemy by storm was gone. He whose prayers had been the strength of the campaigns was now in his eternal home and the loss of power was felt. Father Nash's grave in a neglected cemetery almost on the border of Canada in northern New York. The tombstone reads. Daniel NASH
Laborer with Finney Mighty in Prayer
Nov. 17, 1775 - Dec. 20, 1831
Daniel Nash was not written up in the papers of the day. The elite of his day took no notice of him. There was notice in Heaven of this humble man. Like Paul, the demons knew him by reputation. In his heart dwelt fully the burning Spirit of God. Great is his reward in Heaven. People of God, can we do any less that to burn with such a passion to see God's Kingdom advanced!

My Inspiration

I'f you think of   this world is a place intended simply for our happiness you find it quite intolerable; think of it as a place of training and correction and it is not so bad. C.S.Lewis
The natural life knows that if the spiritual life gets hold of it, all its self-centeredness and self-will are going to be killed... and it is ready to fight tooth and nail to avoid that." ~ C S Lewis

As I was meditating on the word of God these 3 words touched me deeply to grow more in faith Light, Love, and Life
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life
(John 8:12). In Him was Life; and The Life was The Light of men Christ, the Giver of Life, is also The Life; and as we live in fellowship with Him, our lives will continue to become more and more an expression of His life.
In Gen1/3 ; And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (Jn;1:4).In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness,
we have a responsibility to enlighten the darkness by our deeds and words. We are to demonstrate that Christ's salvation liberates us from sin, in order that we can live in the Spirit and proclaim the Savior. That responsibility starts from the place where we are. But none of us can fulfill this unless we are willing to be filled by the Holy Spirit, and walk in step with Him. So we need to ask him for a willing heart to receive the fullness of His presence and His power.
Paul speaks   1Cor 13/ This is what shown through out the Bible .Bible is the love story of God to man.
Jn3/16 says For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Jesus says again  in John 10:10  The thief  cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. so also Jn 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Through out the old Testament, we read the witness and examples of our ancestors Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.so that we do not fall in the run  God have set before us.
Meditating on the word of God we see How great  our God IS!
In my words I say God is the architect, Jesus the contractor and Holy Spirit the interior designer. Architect who draws the plan of a house, Jesus is the builder through the word of God, and Holy Spirit is the decorator of His House which is our body.? Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?
Jesus completely surrounded His life to the will of God. We find the same example with Abraham and Isaac.
Even though Abraham was physically weak and old, he believed what God said. Abraham’s faith credited it to him as righteousness And the covenant was made through cutting the animals into half and God walking in between them as a sign of the covenant.  (Genesis; 15 /18 )
He had  super natural faith not a human faith . Even Thomas the disciple asked for sign and we know what Jesus said to him. Heb 11/1 . We need a trusting and expectant faith in our day to day life. Another point when we have a personal relationship with Jesus  reading the word mediating on it spending time with God , we receive revelations and wisdom to move in the right path God need each one of us . Each one of us  is unique and our work for Him is in different ways  as to serve Him in the kingdom of God
We need Revelation and not information from people.  Adam and Eve lacked this revelation. Even though God said not to eat or touch, they listened to the information received from out side. In our walk with God we need revelation and not information from human reasoning
. Gal 3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.  Meaning one person, who is Christ.
Abraham believed God and surrendered himself offering Isaac for the sacrifice trusting  in the covenant promise of God.
Looking at Isaac we find a great faith in his attitude. As a man he could have resisted or run away from his old age father but he stood with faith in agreement with his human father. He surely  listened to the stories Abraham told him earlier  while growing up.Rom; 10/17,  Faith comes from hearing -
Abraham’s test was actually a wilderness test is where we submit to short term pain, confident that in the end it will produce long term gain. Jesus was tested in the wilderness. So we are also tested in our day to day life journey. As I was mediating on this , I recd  a  mail from  a friend  in   USA .TD Jakes talking about the importance of hearing God on a daily basis. He  explained it from Abraham and Isaac their journey to sacrifice Isaac. He said Isaac must have been glad that his dad could hear God clearly when Abraham raised the knife. He said there are many 'dead Isaacs' in our lives b'cos we killed the Isaacs the Lord wanted us to keep b'cos we lived on the revelation of the past and stopped hearing God.
Joshua 1/8 teach how important it is learning and experiencing God on daily basis. By spending time with God reading the word of God mediating on it brings life as spiritual   food, mentally and physically
As a child of God we need to die to self day by day shown by Jesus Phil 2/4-8.This is the essence of Christianity. Dying to self brings fruits of His spirit .Gal 5/22. Whatever done  with a cheerful attitude of mind  and spirit  giving away what is attached to us  release or deliver  one from bondage of sin  and brings to the  next level of spiritual growth
God's GPS  Hebrews 13:20-21.An Encouraging word for us. These verses teach us that God is working in us all the time to bring us to maturity--our destiny in Christ.
God’s guidance to that of the Global Positioning System (GPS), one of those systems they now have in cars that guides you to your destination.
A GPS system uses a satellite to give an aerial view, and its sole function is to get you to your destination, your "destiny." As you travel to your destination, you have a map on the screen, and this little annoying voice talking to you through the whole trip, "Left turn a quarter mile ahead; left turn 150 feet ahead; left turn 50 feet ahead."
If you miss your turn, it immediately computes a new course for you so you can get back to where you are supposed to be. And if you mess up on those directions, it then computes another new course. In the same way, God has a destiny for us to fulfill, something that fits into His great master plan. By His grace, He is guiding us all the way, even when we get off track. God just readjusts and says, "This is the next thing you need to do to get back into My plan." Through His "GPS," He is always working to get us where we need to be.

Inspired By God's Love

God did not design prayer as simply an avenue for requests; spending time in conversation with our heavenly Father is meant to help us know and love Him. Then, as we grow in passion for the Lord, spending time with Him will be a delight, and life turns into an adventure of faith.
He is the only rock to build your life upon. Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Truth that will stand the test of time. Shepherd who laid down His Life for the sheep. Saviour who can give the gift of eternal Life. Ruler who has all Authority in Heaven and earth. Lord who Reigns above all. May He who is Lord of all bring to all of you the blessings of His Kingdom and the joys  of His Love  alwaysand forever .Jesus speaks to our hearts with the voice of Love ~ and His love goes on forever. Whatever the time Or the season,Whatever you need  Or hope for; Jesus is there for you ~
For He is The still, small, Eternal voice Within your heart

Inspired by love
Heavenly Father up above
Bless us with your endless love!
Forgive us when we're down right mean.
Wash us Lord and make us clean!
Guide our paths along the way.
Draw us near when we stray!
For every woman, child and man,
Teach us your Eternal plan!
Let us seek your Holy face.
Grant us wisdom, show us grace!
May your Truth be known to all
So everyone will hear Your call!
Direct our lives down a righteous path.
Spare us from your Godly wrath!
Purify the heart and soul.
Complete us Lord and make us whole!
Place the devil below our feet.
And Your work in us be made complete!
Let every heart rejoice and sing
That You are Jesus Christ the King!!
